The Story
The Smith family decided to visit the big city. The two children, Emma and Sam, were very excited. They didn’t go to the city very often, so it was a special day for them. They woke up early and got ready for their trip.
On Saturday morning, they went to the train station. The train was long and red. They found good seats next to a big window. During the journey, Emma and Sam looked at all the houses and trees passing by.
When they arrived, they saw many big buildings and busy shops. Their parents bought them a new book from a bookstore. Sam was happy because he also got a small car toy that he wanted for a long time.
For lunch, they ate pizza at a small, friendly restaurant. Emma said it was very delicious. After lunch, they all went to a beautiful park. The children played on the swings and ran on the soft green grass.
In the evening, they were very tired but also very happy. They took the train back home. They talked about all the things they saw and did. It was a wonderful day for everyone in the family.
