The Story

Joe wanted to go to work. He needed his car keys. He looked in his pocket, but the keys were not there. He started to feel worried because he couldn’t see them anywhere. He knew he had to find them soon.

First, he looked in the kitchen. He looked on the table and near the window. He did not see his keys. This was a big problem for him. He started to feel a little sad because he could not find them.

Then, he went to the living room. He remembered watching television last night. He looked on the sofa and under a big chair. He still could not find the keys. He started to think he would be late for his job.

He tried very hard to remember. “Where did I put my jacket?” he thought. He usually puts his jacket near the front door. But yesterday, he was very tired. He remembered he put his jacket on a chair in his bedroom.

He runs to the bedroom and picks up the jacket. He put his hand in the pocket, and the keys were there! He felt very happy. He took the keys and quickly left the house for work.
